MMM {weekend} H&M + MIH + New Look

Bank Holiday weekend – so OF COURSE it’s going to rain.

But don’t worry, because whether you’re staying at home or getting away somewhere, I’ve found the perfect waterproof.

WEARING…

Me in my new H&M parka

(Sorry about the terrible picture, my ‘personal photographer’ got home too late from work to take this outside, or indeed, in focus)

Plus, how much do you love these shoes? Are they the Belgravia flats from Aquazurra ? Erm no, I found these in New Look. They’re the perfect in-between season shoe to wear with skirts or cropped trousers. Plus, they’re super comfy.

MY WALLIS TAKEOVER…

As I mentioned, this week I have been all over Wallis’s social media accounts with my 5 days of #WallisJewels. It was a lovely project to be involved with – I really liked everything I wore, but these were my favourites. Check out the full range on their site and look out for my 5-day takeover on their Facebook page later today.

MONDAY: Statement flower collar wearing with the Wallis black jumpsuit

WEDNESDAY: Red beaded bangle, worn with tee-shirt from H&M (bought in-store, not available online), Zara khaki trousers and vintage black clutch bag

THURSDAY: Long pendant, worn with Topshop mac (not available any more, but love this one), Zara skirt (also love the green), Primark tee

PS I had a sneak peek at their new season coat collection last week and it is so worth checking out when it lands next week. I loved three – a deconstructed, red, Scandi influenced midi style, as seen here on the lovely Julia from Stylonylon; a gorgeous navy pea coat and this simple grey minimal style.

EATING…

Crab linguine – yum

The quickest, simplest dinner ever. Take a handful of linguine, boil. Chop up two cloves of garlic and two chillies (depending on how garlicky / hot you like it), half an onion and fry off in a tiny bit of olive oil. When the pasta is al dente, drain and leave to one side. Take the onion, garlic and chilli off the heat and mix in with the pasta. Add a handful of chopped coriander and a tin of crab, squeeze over the juice of two limes and stir. Store cupboard dinner done, in about ten minutes.

LOUNGING…

Beyond obsessed with I Love Linen, an Australian brand I spotted on Instagram. These bedsheets in particular are amazing. And yes they do ship to the UK.

The mono print mash-up is amazing.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend everyone xx
