MMM {home} New bedrooms part 2

Last week I showed you the mood board for Charlie’s new grown-up bedroom.

Today it’s Lila’s new room idea – which is well underway. I’m very excited about putting all the little bits together – cushions, bedlinen and pictures – to personalise her space. As with Charlie’s room, it’s not exactly going to be in quiet and soothing tones – more turquoise mixed with fuchsia, yellow and a bit of grey.

The wallpaper I chose was a Prestigious Textiles design, available in John Lewis which will be on one wall only.

Oh and I spent all Sunday spraying an off-white iron bed bright aqua and it looks great – from a distance. It was STRESSFUL and up close I’ve made a mess of some areas, but that all adds to the vintage charm, right!?

And remember the amazing rug I found in TK Maxx? Well that’s kind of inspired a bit of a geometric theme.

I promise to post pictures of both rooms once they’re done, but until then, here is the mood board.
