First Retro american Diner experience feat. Indiana Jones & Dog Walk! #YYC

Ihr Lieben, wie versprochen folgt der nächste Post! Heute nehme ich euch mal ein bisschen mit durch unseren Tag - naja zumindest einen kurzen und (semi-)spannenden Teil davon. Neulich hatte ich nämlich meine erste "Retro American Diner Experience" - Gut, eigentlich Canadian, aber das klingt irgendwie komisch. Erzähl's bloss keinem Kandier, dass ich gelegentlich die Bewohner des Nordamerikanischen Kontinents eine eine Schublade stopfe. Kommt GAR NICHT GUT. Aber das steht ja nun auch gar nicht zur Debatte. Outfit-technisch fühlte ich mich absolut herbstlich, was später von einem älteren Herren netterweise als Indiana Jones betitelt wurde. Nun gut... das hatte ich eigentlich nicht im Kopf, aber der Gedanke auf abenteuerhalfte Art die Stadt alà Indi zu erkunden - damit kann ich mich damit anfreunden ;)
Greetings, everyone! As promised, I managed to upload another post. This time a little different, because I am taking you guys with me and show you a teny-tiny little bit of our semi-exciting day, the other day when we went for breakfast and had out very first "Retro American Diner Experience". Well, actually Canadian, but that doesn't sound very good - you get the idea. Btw, do not tell any Canadian - Comparing Canadian & Americans, thinking they are the same (I know they are not) - NOT a good thing to mention to Canadians. I am going off topic here, though. As for my outfit: I felt quite autumnal that day wearing my Cape & Hat in combination with my mustard yellow knit sweater. An older gentlemen felt the need to call me Indiana Jones - which, in retrospect, I can live with - because hey... adventurously exploring a city alà Indi - actually kind of cool.

Zurück zum Diner. Ein kleines Schmuckstück, dass diesen wunderbaren amerikanischen Krimi-Charm eines alten Films versprüht. Preise recht erschwinglich, ist ja auch nicht immer der Fall, denn heutzutage ist retro ja hipp und neuerdings dadurch auch gerne mal teuer. Naja, auf jeden Fall war es so richtig typisch Diner und einfach schön. Lasst euch von dem recht unimposanten Anblick unseres Frühstücks nicht täuschen - denn es was absolut lecker!
Back to the diner. That little beauty had so much old charm - exactly like in on of those old criminal movies, when two cops meet for a coffee break. The prices were alright as well, which these days isn't always the case, because as soon as something is cool & retro it's hipp and that often means expensive as well. Btw, don't let the boring look of our food fool you - because it was quite delicious!

Danach ging es mit Wellington noch ein Stücken spazieren. Allerdings mussten wir uns durch die plötzliche Kälte und eisigen Wind ziemlich einwickeln. Daher auch mein dicker "Presswurst-Look", den Herr Wunderbar trotzdem klasse fand und unbedingt ablichten musste :) Mich erinnert es eher an einen Wald-Gnom!
Übrigens: Das Outfit haben wir auch noch einmal ordentlich von oben bis unten fotografiert - der Post samt allen Outfit-Details dazu folgt in zwei Tagen - also fragt mir bitter keiner, woher xyz ist - Geduld meine Freunde :) Kommt alles!
After our bellies were full, we decided to talk Welli for a little walk along to river. Due to a sudden really cold breeze though, we had to bundle up quite a bit. So, excuse my bulky Hobo-Look. My dear Mr. Wunderbar liked to look anyways and found it quite picture worthy. Even though, I remind myself of a person that lives in the woods ;)
Btw, we also shot the entire outfit properly from top to bottom - so stay tuned for the post with all of the outfit details in about two days. Patience, friends! :)
