Gifts, finds and more of Feb 2014!

For such a short month, February sure was a busy month. Work has been crazy. Home has been crazy. Life has just been busy. But I wasn't able to take as many pictures as usual to have a month in pictures. So here are some great gifts and finds I've gotten last month. The first thing on the list is my new cupcake apron for my cupcake kitchen, a gift from my friend Kiah (who was also my maid of honor). She's so great! Thanks again Kiah! Cupcakes and Ruffles: I'm in love.

I also went to Burlington Coat Factory to help a friend look for some stuff to fill her new apartment and ended up just getting a bunch of crap for myself. I couldn't help it, there was a clearance section in the front of the store! So I picked up this awesome warped fruit bowl for under 2 bucks. I needed one and this was just too cute. We'll see what my husband thinks of it hahahahaahaha.

I also picked up this Alice In Wonderland Mug. Isn't it just perfect? I love it! I of course couldn't NOT get this, it was only $2.98! I was torn on whether or not to use it or display it and I've decided to just go ahead and put it into the bedroom before I break it, I always break this kind of stuff. I can't wait to find a place for it now! That is... when I finally decide to put everything back up in our bedroom, I've been busy. I might go back and buy a second one to use ;)

Picked up a couple cute things at Rue21, like this cute bracelet, some panties and an anchor tote.

AND... my mini mermaid molds came in! They're supposed to be used for fondant decorating and molding but I'm going to be making mini mermaid soaps for the bathroom! Exciting! I just need to find some time to make some soap now. I've also started knitting some fur baby sweaters for my pregnant friend Kenna. The sweaters are going to say 'Big Sister' on them, so cute! But they're taking forever, so I need to start cracking down on them.
