My Newfound Love For Sneakers

Aside from my white converse high-tops and my Nike Free Runs, I’ve never been a big fan of sneakers. I remember being so ecstatic to start high school because students were allowed to wear any shoes of their choice, as opposed to the tennies-only rule I’ve been forced to honor in previous years. Fast forward seven years and several awkward flip-flop tan lines later – not to mention, a whole lot of college campus walking (or running, if I’m late to lecture) – and I’ve learned to appreciate any form of footwear that doesn’t leave my feet blistered. Now that designers like Jimmy Choo and Giuseppe Zanotti have introduced sneakers into their repertoire, I’m more than happy to rock these sporty kicks all over town.
