rethink your smalls
We are loving super-stylish Smalls (and we’ve both been die-hard fans of Merino for our kids since they were babies – it’s the best), a small company specialising in gorgeous, simple layering pieces in Merino wool. They do two styles – one tank and one long sleeve tee (in four stylish colourways, including ‘the perfect pink’). They may not be the cheapest (the tanks are £26.95), but the whole idea is that you just buy one or two (that will last forever), rather than buying a drawer full of cheap ill-fitting, cotton vests (as I normally do) that generally shrink and discolour. I like this idea a lot (more space in Tabarlow’s drawers for more lovely things for starters…). And yes, you can chuck them in the wash without fear of shrinkage! Available in ages 2-12 years.
