Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof Mascara
I got 2 mascaras during my Ulta Cyber Monday haul, one of them is the Maybelline The Falsies and the other one is Maybelline The Rocket. I didn’t get the best result with The Falsies so I decided to open this one and try it out. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like this mascara. I’d say The Rocket is really similar to CG LashBlast Volume in terms of both the wand and the formula. But the wand for The Rocket is slightly thinner and I really like that.
I got the waterproof version in the darkest shade, as usual. The formula is not too wet and not too dry. It doesn’t clump and goes on the lashes pretty evenly. I still “blot” after application but the amount of excess mascara that comes out is not nearly as much as that of The Falsies. This mascara dries very fast and it doesn’t weigh my lashes down. It is a long-wearing formula that does not smudge at all until after 6 hours or so. I’d say that’s pretty impressive considering how oily my eye area can get throughout the day.
Overall, I really enjoyed this mascara and I would definitely re-purchase it.
