High street vs. designer backpacks

Back in the summer of 2012 (doesn’t that feel like a lifetime ago!) I wrote a piece on the best backpacks on the high street. The geek chic trend still isn’t going anywhere and two years on backpacks are still big news. This is of course great for busy mums with all we have to carry around and even more so for me now I’m juggling two little ones and everything that goes with them.

If you’re still thinking backpacks are more student than chic grown-up then think again, this breed of two-strap wonders have a sharper style and high street brands have been inspired by the luxe looks of the designers. So if £770 for a backpack seems a little (!) excessive take a peek at these look-a-likes under £30.

Can you guess which are the bargain bags and which are top end before scrolling down?
