WINTER DRESSING

Days out with April are always an excuse to try and out-pin up each other- the Black Heart Creative's event being a chance for us to try out our winter looks. This year I'm all about the cape- as (my Next grey leopard print cape in particular) creates a cosy blanket around me. Throw in some faux fur and its the perfect winter style.

I'm swaying towards more fitted dresses as the cold is creeping in- that way finding worry about a soggy petticoat- my Collectif cherry Dolores dress being my favourite. I defiantly wet for glam with huge curls and stockings.
There's something about stockings that make me feel extra glamorous- and why I only wear them for special occasions in the warmer months. As its getting colder I can see myself wearing them a lot more.
The only thing letting my down this winter is appropriate footwear. I just don't seem to own winter dress appropriate shoes! With turning 25 in a few weeks I feel like I should be a little more sensible- a contrast from the student lifestyle I'm living. Jodie x
