For the Spring-Summer ’14 the trend in footwear is definitely flat sandals. As much as this news is comforting to most, it could be slightly worrying to who is not used to wear them.

Fortunately the choice is so various that it will certainly suit many. There are two main schools of thought: the embellished flats and the minimal flats. Both very flattering (no pun intended), it is more about personal style and preferences.

Embellished flats are suitable for strolling in the city, even in the evenings. The best examples would be from DSQUARED2, Stella McCartney, and Dolce & Gabbana.

They can be worn with a chic outfit or to tone up a simple pair of jeans and t-shirt’s look.

Minimal flats are a natural extension of the minimal and sporty trend which has already seen approval in the blogsphere and on the streets. The great advantage is that now the comfortable side is backed up by the fact that minimal flats are very trendy. Balenciaga and Fendi’s proposal are very hard to beat.

In coclusion, wether it is embellished or minimal, flats sandals are the way to go this summer!

Per la Primavera-Estate ’14, infatti, il trend in calzature é sicuramente i sandali bassi. Per quanto la novitá sia rassicurante per molti, potrebbe essere leggermente scoraggiante per coloro che non sono abituate a indossarli.

Fortunatamente la scelta é talmente vasta che non é difficile trovare il giusto paio di sandali bassi che donino a ognuna. Le due principali scuole di pensiero per questa stagione sono: i sandali gioiello e quelli minimali.

I sandali gioiello si addicono alla cittá sia di giorno che di sera. Gli esempi migliori sono quelli di DSQUARED2, Stella McCartney, and Dolce & Gabbana. Possono essere indossati con un look sofisticato o possono impreziosire il semplice paio di jeans e t-shirt.

I sandali minimali sono un’evoluzione naturale del trend sportivo che ha giá ricevuto vasta approvazione dalla blogsphere come si puó notare in giro per le strade delle cittá Italiane e non. Sia le proposte di Balenciaga che quelle di Fendi sono difficili da battere.

In conclusione, sia che si tratti di gioello o minimale, il sandalo basso quest’estate é vincente!
