New Staples

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a good start to your week. I feel like I was super productive and got a couple of videos done as well as these outfit shots, so all in all a good day. I did have a couple of mini meltdowns over technology blips, but it has almost all worked out in the end. Another thing I did yesterday was film a vlog about what I do in a day, but am still undecided as to whether I would like to upload it to YouTube. It's a little scary to let people into your everyday life like that but I'm so obsessed with other people's vlogs that I thought it might be a good way to connect with all of you. So I don't know -- what do you think?

It was so mild out yesterday that I actually got away with wearing a leather jacket to meet Ollie for lunch. Such a nice treat! It was raining on and off but we were lucky enough to catch a rain-free moment to snap these before grabbing some food.

While we were in Seattle, I must have tried on 500 pairs of black skinny jeans before finding these perfect ones. They really hold their shape and suck you in in all the right places. These ones are high-waisted and I think that's the key. All skinny jeans are to be high-waist from now on!

I'm pretty sure that I've shown you this necklace already, but I can't get enough of the way it elevates even the most ordinary sweater. For such a simple piece, it really packs a punch.

Apart from the leather jacket, this is pretty much the look that I have been living in. A loose sweater, skinny jeans, and these new Vince boots that I picked up for my birthday.

These boots are exactly what I have been looking for and was so excited to find them on sale in Nordstrom. And they're actually comfortable! I feel like I won the lottery with these ones. This is my third pair of Vince shoes and I am such a huge fan. They make the perfect classic pieces.
