Mot Båstad!

Det blev ett härligt stopp i Ystad, vi kommer gärna tillbaka när nya spat öppnar i september. Nu ska vi mot Båstad för att träffa en av Odds nya pappa-kompisar. Jag visste att det skulle fungera! Jag skrev ju ut i bloggen att Odd behövde fler pappalediga vänner på Kungsholmen i höst och visst gick det. Paret bor på gatan bredvid oss och har sommarhus i Båstad och nu blir det lunch med dom. Sedan väntar två nätter på Falkenberg Strandbad. Och efter det en vecka på Vindö. Jag ser att några av er tycker att vi flänger runt och ja det är ju precis det vi gör. Det är underbart att vara ledig och bila runt och övernatta där man känner för det. Det bästa med Skåne, Västkusten och Danmark är ju att avstånden är så korta, vi har inte kört mer än två timmar om dagen bortsett från när vi skulle ner från Stockholm (stopp i Jönköping).

We had a lovely time in Ystad and will be back in September when their new spa opens. Now we’re off to Båstad to see one of Odd’s new paternity-group friends. I knew that it would work! Remember how we asked on the blog for dads on paternity leave in Kungsholmen that Odd could hang out with? We found loads. This couple live on the next street over and have a summer house in Båstad so we’re going there for lunch. After that we have two days booked in at Falkenberg Strandbad. And after that we’re going to Vindö for a week. I noticed that some of you were saying that we’re a bit all over the place and yeah that’s true. It’s amazing to have time off, drive around and stay where you feel like it. The best thing about Skåne, the West Coast and Denmark is that the distances are all so short, we’ve not had to drive more than two hours a day except for the drive down from Stockholm (we stayed over in Jönköping on the way down).
