DIY Round Up : Moving Out

Today I thought I would bring you a little post that, I think, is relevant to a lot of you at this point in the year. For the three of us at TWB this time four years ago (seriously, where has the time gone?!) we were getting ready to pack up and leave for uni. At that point we didn't even know each other existed, that is such a crazy thought!! Anywho, I will spare you all the trip down memory lane. Now things are a little different and this year we are all starting full time jobs and moving away from home once again. I will be moving back up to Leeds and into a lovely little rented house. I think people often find adding character to rented houses and student accommodation pretty difficult as you can't really make any drastic changes. I've spent my last week at home painting some old pine furniture and up cycling anything I can get my hands on! I have compiled some of my favourite DIY ideas from the internet to get your creative juices flowing.

I would really love to make some artwork for my new house. However, I have not been gifted in the illustration department, so I reckon some cool, simple prints would be as far as I could stretch. I really love this XO print and I think it would be pretty easy to create something similar. If you aren't feeling that adventurous, Etsy is a great place to check out unique and unusual prints from independent designers and artists.
