This will be my last month….

I consider myself to have been blessed during the two years and nine months I’ve had Basia’s Bookshelf open. I’ve worked with wonderful authors, publishers, blog tour hosts and most of all have met some terrific people. I love the blogging community and the friends I’ve made and the joy of having my reviews actually being read and being part of discussions of books has been priceless.

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to say it’s time for me to bring things to a close though. It’s been increasingly difficult for me to read strictly from a physical standpoint and there have been some recent developments that mean I can’t devote myself to blogging the way I should, need or want to. I’m in the process of finding alternate eyeballs for all of my unreviewed material.

I’ll still be reviewing at Goodreads (where I usually chat in updates and on people’s reviews), so if you’d like to follow or friend me there, my button is over on the sidebar. I’ll probably deactivate my Twitter account shortly and Facebook will of course stop updating as soon as the blog does. I’m also not falling off of the face of the earth – when I can, I’ll continue to bug you all in the comments on your blogs and Goodreads reviews and updates.

The blog will stay up until the end of the month, but I’ll disable comments after the 25th and the final post. Until then, I do have other reviews and things coming!

I cannot thank you all enough for your support over the last two plus years.
