{NYFW}: VIVIENNE HU SS15

One of the fashion shows I was invited to, and I actually quite enjoyed watching was Vivienne Hu Spring/ Summer 2015 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Inspired by the colors, movements, and the vibrancy of Jackson Pollock's abstract painting, Vivienne used a lot of earthy colored tones such as green, black, brown in her collection this year. Asymmetrical hemlines, high-low details, uneven cut, or color combination were not new to fashion design, but through Vivienne's hands and her creative mind, they all looked so unique, refreshing, and attractive on the runway.
Having an opportunity to watch every design up close and personal from the front row, I couldn't help but admire Vivienne's talent and her creativity in playing with different materials and textures to come up with 34 unique styles. Each style had its own story to tell to the audience. While some styles told a story about a chic girl who had a strong sense of self-independence, others represented an elegant woman with a desire to show her feminity and personality in a unique way.
Do you want to know other stories too? Find out in the beautiful photos below. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to share with you Vivienne Hu SS15 collection and her story, on my blog. I hope you'll love it as much as I do!

Watch the show here and see if you can spot me from the front row. *Hint*: on the left!
