Remember when we talked of wanting snow...well....

Today the PNW is getting hammered with beautiful snow! Also, terrible terrible wind that freezes all your small bits off as soon as you step outside. It's beyond cold! But...it's beautiful...and I love watching it! I love seeing how excited my son is to go play in the snow.
I'm sad that he can't because he will lose all of his fingers.
I love that my daughter is bewildered by it. "Seriously, what is that white stuff falling from the sky and why is it hurting my face?"
Slowly but surely the town is shutting down. These people aren't used to this.
