AVEDA Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight

Hello Beauties! I have a hair product review for you today and I am going to get right into it because I LOVE IT. My fellow curly girls that like to straighten, this one is going to knock your socks off. Usually in the summertime I limit how often I straighten my hair. This summer I grabbed the flat iron more often than usual and my hair is paying the price. After using the Aveda Smooth Infusion I am screaming WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE! My hair is not extremely hard to straighten, but with the summer humidity reversion is an issue. When I am sporting the straight look and that revision starts happening I might rock a headband or resort to a ponytail to get a few more days from the blow out before washing again. Well, let me just tell you honey this Aveda cream is no joke and is one of the best non chemical products I have used to get effortless sleek, straight hair.
*About Aveda Naturally Straight
Go from naturally curly to naturally straight. Aveda Smooth Infusion™ Naturally Straight is a lightweight styling creme that progressively loosens curls every time you style.

As you straighten your hair, Aveda Smooth Infusion™ Naturally Straight’s naturally derived plant fibers invisibly attach to hair to loosen curl and help lock in straightness. The formula’s humidity barrier of organic cassava extract and maize defends against frizz. The more you use it, the easier it is to create straight, smooth styles, so you can spend less time with a blow dryer and flat iron every day. It is safe for relaxed and color treated hair. After five consecutive applications of Naturally Straight, hair will stay straight for up to three washes.
How to Use: Step 1: Wash and Condition hair;
Step 2: Apply Aveda Naturally Straight to towel-dried, damp hair. My hair is fairly thick so I sectioned it off and applied about a nickel size amount of the cream to each section;
Step 3: I try to limit heat, so after applying the cream I did let my hair air-dry to about 80% before going in with the blow-dryer and a paddle brush. Once my hair was completely dry I finished it off with the flat iron, but I must note I was able to use a lower heat setting this time. I was impressed with how smooth and soft my hair was after the blow-dry, it just need a little smoothing and finishing with the flat iron.
Several days later my hair still has great shine and very little reverting back curly, just at the root in the front and that is mostly because it gets a little wet when I wash my face. These pictures were taken four days after I straightened with the Aveda Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight cream and I cannot believe it still looks this good.
The cream adsorbed into my hair well, and didn't weight it down, I like my hair to be light and have movement so having a product that is not heavy is important to me. The Aveda cream has a nice scent that leans on to a natural, woodsy vibe with a hint of citrus. The cream is safe for relaxed and color treated hair.
As we move into the cooler months and I anticipate wearing my hair straight more often, this is definitely a product I will continue using. The Aveda Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight cream is by far one of the best straightening creams I have ever used.
