60 Seconds With……..Wild Heart Jewellery

Julie and Samara are a mother/daughter duo who have wandering Gypsy souls. Both have had varying careers but have found a common interest in making beautiful jewellery.

They draw their inspiration from Julie’s bohemian wild child up bringing and Samara’s love for the Native American culture. Their designs are strongly influenced by a shared love of tribal and ethnic culture, freedom, peace, love, music, totem, talismans and mother nature.

Wild Heart Jewellery designs have a mixture of silver, bronze, gemstones, crystals, leather, shells and wood and each piece is unique in their designs and meanings.

“We draw a spiritual energy from the natural stones and crystals such as turquoise, amethyst and quartz and identify the power behind each piece.”

“We want to share our passions and inspirations through our creations”

The studio of Wild Heart Jewellery

We draw inspiration from……….

the world around us, tribal and ethnic cultures, 60′s-70′s rock era and we both

have an insatiable desire for anything Native American

Our motto……..

a dream you dream alone, is only a dream….. a dream you dream together is reality

-John Lennon

To create is to……..

let the imagination go wild and free and usually it just flows from there to design

Our bohemian muse……

is and always has been Stevie Nicks. Her song, ‘Blame it on my Wild Heart’, is where our name came from

We can’t live without……

Coffee in the morning and music in the studio while we work

Our workspace is……

a front room of our home on the Gold Coast which we have converted from our home office to our magical little sanctuary.

We started out in our dining room which was very chaotic for the first year or so.

Our go to meal……

sushi

Three desert island essentials…….

sarong, sunglasses and a good book

In 5 years time………

we will both be working and running ‘Wild Heart’, full time, in a larger space for our studio,

with our website and stockists to keep us going strong
