Sunday’s Stoppings: Great Reads from around the Internet

Sunday is usually a pretty lazy day around here. We don’t have a church close by, or any at all to my knowledge, and since that’s what we would usually do, in place of that we actually do nothing. And it’s actually kind of fabulous. (Not the missing church part — the doing nothing part. Just to be clear:))

I’ve noticed lots of people have the same idea and so I thought I would put together a few ‘stoppings’ if you will. Some sites/posts I’ve read throughout the week that I enjoyed and think you might too!

I absolutely love stopping by Merrick’s blog for her fashion sense, her awesome pictures, and amazing DIYs. She shared a sequin dress here that she made and ways to wear her beautiful tulle skirt here. I’ve been wanting to make my wedding dress into a tulle skirt like this for a long time, now I’ve got to do it!! As soon as I’m back in Cali! If you haven’t checked her out, do so. She’s one you could get caught up in for a while.

My friend Audrey from Putting me Together is pregnant!! So happy for her. If you haven’t been to her blog, it’s a must read too. She shares daily outfits posts with lots of tips and tricks for remixing your wardrobe. It’s very helpful. I’m sure you’re already a reader of hers, but just in case, head on over.

Another obsession of late is Anna from In Honor of Design. Every post of hers is absolutely killer. I’m really enjoying her ‘local notes’ series she has going on. She goes inside businesses that are local in the ATL area to showcase their art. The most recent was Honeycomb Studio who makes beautiful pottery. I loved seeing inside the business and also her beautiful work. I think I need to order a few things!

I ordered two prints from P.S. I Adore You yesterday. The planets and the map. I’m going to put them in the boys’ room when I get around to doing it. I’ve never ordered anything from there, but super happy to support them!

If you missed it this week, I shared 25 things about me you might not have known and I shared a peek into our little French home. It’s not much, but it’s ours and it’s cozy and cute. (when it’s clean) I also shared a pretty hair tutorial on Friday! Messy bun for those of you who just can’t seem to get their top knot up too high.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my ‘great reads’ list for this week. I hope to do this every Sunday and maybe discover some new blogs in the process. Any great reads you found this week? Leave ‘em in the comments, I’d love to check them out!

Have a lovely day!
