Microdermabrasion at Home!

If I could, I would be a regular at the spa. I would get all the services they offered and enjoy my glamorous life. Buuuutttt nope. That’s not my life. I don’t have the time, money, and resources to be at the spa for regular beauty routines. That is why I try to do everything I can to find ways to do it myself. Microdermabrasion at home is one of those things.

Microdermabrasion at home

Recently I got to try the Personal Microderm Device. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, I’d never used one before. But I’m always down to try new things and up my skin care routine, so I took the challenge. I have used it for two weeks now and you guys, I’m in love.

The Personal Microderm Device is supposed to have the same effect as the spa. It removes dead skin scales and reveals a healthy clear complexion. This allows your skin to soak up those products so much more and obviously they work better. It is supposed to work on all skin types because it has different disks you can use for different skin types. It smooths, evens tone, reduces blemishes, and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They actually have a ton of great health and beauty content on their Facebook page if you want to check it out!

Now for what I experienced. I have only done microdermabrasion at home, not in a salon, so I can’t speak to the comparison, but I can tell you what I experienced personally. I have had some trouble with my skin lately. My skin freaked out over turning 30 more than I did! I tried face washes, lotions, I even saw a dermatologist who prescribed me some medicine. None of it was really helping. I little here and there, but not enough to make me totally happy.

What I noticed after using the Personal Microderm Device was smoother skin with more even tone. I still see my wrinkles, but I honestly feel like they’re lessened! My skin tone has evened out and I feel more confident going out without makeup on. I can’t tell you guys how happy I am with this device, it’s changed my skin.

The device is around $180. It might sound expensive, but think about it. How much would you have to pay if you went into an esthetician one time? Or dermatologist? How about twice a month? Even once a month for a bit? There really is no comparison. Also, if you use the code PMDFRIENDS25 you can get 25% off your microdermabrasion at home kit until the end of July!

And just for kicks, here is a picture of me with no makeup on at all. I would NOT have posted this a few weeks ago.

Okay, so I still look like somewhat of a zombie, but my skin is making some major improvements that I’m very excited about! I cannot wait to see how it continues to improve.

I would honestly recommend getting a Personal Microderm Device if you can. It’s just so nice to be able to do those types of things from the comfort of your home for a fraction of the cost and not only feel the difference, but see it.

So tell me, have you done microdermabrasion at home or in a salon? What was your experience?
