I turn twenty-four in a few weeks and while I feel like I'm heading straight into a quarter life crisis as my birthday looms, I do love presents. I thought I'd share some of the pretty things I'm hoping for in the hopes that my family and boyfriend will see the list and take note. If not, I have no problem in giving gifts to myself.
- IT by Alexa Chung. I have a growing collection of fashion books and this one by the ultimate fashion IT girl sounds like a truly special book filled with a collection of Alexa's writing, doodles and photographs.
- Seeking Love. Finding Overalls by Leandra Medine. I adore both Leandra's sense of style and writing style and I can't wait to read her collection of essays. I have no doubt that it will have me in stitches.
- Canon EF-S 17mm-85mm f/4-5.6 Image Stabilized USM SLR Lens. This is a very ambitious item to have on my list, but I'm ever the optimist. I'll try not to get technical about why I am longing for this baby, but for a long time I've been aware that I needed to invest in a lens for my DSLR as the standard kit lens I have been using is beginning to compromise on picture quality and image sharpness. This lens is the upgrade up from a standard kit lens and is a good lens if you are on a budget. I'm on the look out for a second hand one as Canon no longer make them. It would be a dream to own and would make the world of difference to my pictures on here. Fingers crossed!
- Stila Convertible colour lip and cheek cream in Peony. I've tested this blush and I love the natural and pretty that it gives. A summer make up essential for sure!
- Stila in the light palette. This palette is so beautiful and looks like perfection. I love the neutral colours which are pretty much the only colours I wear. It also comes with a 6-page lookbook with detailed how-to tips and tricks, which I could happily learn from.
- Jet Setter travel wallet. Every time I travel I always wish that I had a travel wallet to hold my documents in. This wallet from Forever New features a quilted finish and the exposed metal zip on the front adds a chic touch. Inside it has more than enough space for itineraries, tickets and passports. Pretty and functional!
- Kitti Tortoiseshell sunglasses by Quay. These are a recent addition to my list, as I saw them on Superbalist this morning. I love a classic pair of cat eye sunglasses and the tortoiseshell finish is just lovely.
