As you may have heard, funny man Robin Williams. The Chicago born star of such movies as Patch Adams, Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, who went on the win and Academy Award was found dead yesterday in his home. The 63 year old star, who had been battling depression according to his representatives,as well as drugs and alcohol issues hung himself. Mental Illness is on the rise and if you or know someone battling some type of mental illness, some form of help is always available.

CHICAGO NEWS

The Jelly Belly factory which has been located in the North Chicago area will be eliminating 70 jobs and moving its headquarters in Fairfield, Calif reports Chicago Tribune. (CHICAGO TRIBUNE)

A 6 year old girl who went missing in the Bremerton mobile park home area of was brutally raped and murdered by a 17-year-old neighbor Gabriel Gaeta, a wrestler at Olympic High School. It was revealed that she died of blunt force trauma to the head. (NY DAILY NEWS)

WORLD NEWS

Iraq’s new prime minister is Haider Al Abadi. He studied electrical engineering and went on to obtain a Doctorate at Manchester University and was living in exile in Britain until 2003 when he returned to Iraq. (GULF NEWS)

Orlando Scandrick of the Dallas Cowboys will be suspended for four games due to violating the performance enhancing drug policy of the NFL. The Cowboys’ starting cornerback, most recently went through a somewhat public breakup with basketball housewife star Draya. “He took a substance in Mexico while on vacation that came up on the NFL’s banned substance list. Nearly 2 months after his death he still can’t seem to rest. Radion legend Kasey Casem’s body which has been embroiled in bitter family feuding had been in a Montreal but now is reportedly being flown to Oslo, Norway. (TMZ)

FASHION

In the race to book to hottest star or model for the coveted September Issue, Harper’s Bazaar has taken a different turn. WWD reports that their subscriber edition will feature Emma Ferrer. Who? Exactly! She is the paternal granddaughter of screen and fashion legend Audrey Hepburn. The cover was shot by Richard Avedon’s grandson, Michael Avedon. (WWD)
