OK, let’s be honest. I hoard beauty products in general (and quite a few of you do too). That being said, there are some beauty products I have a tendency to stock up on (hoard if we’re being totally honest) because they are staples that have changed my life. If these were ever discontinued I would hoard them like crazy while holding a funeral for the loss of my much loved products. Yes, I am overly dramatic. I may have done a dramatic cry and wall slide over the lack of Lay’s Cheddar Bacon MAC & Cheese chips in my area.
1. Curl Keeper – I have reviewed this, and if you have ever seen pics of my hair (when I actually went to the trouble to put product in it) you know that those smooth curls don’t just happen without using anything. (affiliate link) Curl Keeper
2. Turbie Twist – As a curly head I usually am air drying my hair (when not using a diffuser), and I use a method called plopping or plunking. I use micro fiber turbans instead of t shirts, and I like using the (affiliate link) Turbie Twist
3. Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade – This stuff changed my life. My brows have never been the same. If they ever stopped making the (affiliate link) Turbie Twist
4. Carmex – I mentioned this in my Fall Beauty Buys, but I use this stuff daily. I love how moisturized and plump it leaves my lips.I pick this up often at the Dollar Tree. You can’t beat the price, and the performance has been better for me than anything I have tried low and high end.
5. C. Booth Derma 36 Glycolic Acid Skin Resurfacing Solution – The only place I have been able to find this locally is at Walgreens. It retails for $14.99, and has 10% glycolic acid. Over time I noticed it made my skin smoother and brighter, and despite my sensitive skin it hasn’t irritated me at all. This is a fantastic product and very affordable. A bottle lasts me at least 4 months with once a day use.
6. Sugarpill Chromalust in Asylum – This is far and away not only my favorite Chromalust from (affiliate link) Sugarpill, but it is hands down my favorite red pigment from any company.
7. ELF Concealer Brush – This little brush is only $1 and is perfect for nail cleanup. I buy several at a time, and once one wears out I break out another. The filbert cut tip is so easy to create crisp, clean nail beds.
8. Conair Firm Hold Bobby Pins – I have thick naturally curly hair, and it is so dense that it simply laughs at regular bobby pins. The (affiliate link) Conair Firm Hold Bobby Pins
