John Frieda Colour Refreshing Gloss

For years, i spent countless hours at the salon refreshing my color with gloss treatments. Once my girls were born however, i simply don't have that kind of time. When i received an email from Allure Magazine's Beauty Enthusiasts Program letting me know that i was selected to review John Frieda's Colour Refreshing Gloss, i was stoked and filled with high hopes! After all, an 'at home' version of this treatment was precisely what i needed! OK, so let me preface by saying what this product is suppose to do. Basically, you use the Colour Refreshing Gloss once a week to instantly boost color for a salon-fresh look in between coloring as the box states. Does it work? Well, as soon as this baby arrived i put it right to the test! I'd colored my hair the week before so i knew this was the ideal time to try it. After shampooing and conditioning, i applied a quarter size amount of this gloss on to my hair. This covered the top portion of my hair. I applied another quarter size amount to coat the rest of my hair. I left it on for 3 minutes and then rinsed. When i dried my hair, i noticed the color was very golden and fresh. A week later, i repeated this process and really took notice of just how amazing my color looked. I use the 'warm blonde' and absolutely love the way it makes my color look as though I've just stepped out of a salon. I'm seriously impressed! In fact, I've already purchased another bottle because i am planning to use this weekly. It really doesn't take too much time out of my regular routine and it works wonders! I'm so happy to have found this product! While i can't speak for the other five colors it comes in, i can vouch for the fact that the warm blonde is amazing! You can purchase this product here.
