That’s One Hair-raising Skirt from Ungaro

Emanuel Ungaro’s Hairy Skirt with Pierre Hardy’s Hairy Heels make quite the hair-raising-outfit. I’m never speechless so I can’t use that excuse when describing the pairing of these two bizarre pieces. My quills are up rendering me as speechless as I can get. The shoes maybe okay on their own but the skirt is over-the-top with it’s “distinctive style”. A good pair of shears or electric razor comes to mind! I suppose on a freezing cold day Ungaro’s Cady-Embellished skirt could keep your thighs nice and warm. Emanuel Ungaro has been off my radar for years. Hadn’t even thought of Ungaro until I recently spotted this collection. The current new designer Italian born, Fausto Puglisi states “the label is all about seduction”. Really???

The Embellished Cady Skirt is uniquely priced at a mere $3272.00. A drop in the bucket for such a detailed Italian-made runway skirt featuring a bead and feather embellished front panel, a thigh to hem front slit, fully lined and a concealed back zip closure. Hardy’s hair-raising heels are from a few season’s ago. We recently featured Hardy’s current furry sneakers which also work with the skirt. I personally have a problem when clothing tips the “pet” scale. These pieces look like living creatures or the best new pet in town. We can’t forget Lanvin’s hairy hats and gloves.
