A sophisticated girl’s room

A lot of the schemes that you see here on Dream Scheme are actually schemes that we’ve previously presented to clients that got rejected for one reason or another. This is one of our favorite fabric schemes of late that we put together for a young girl’s bedroom. It was inspired by one of our favorite Muriel Brandolini fabrics (the floral in the image below).

Beige #14 (Muriel Brandolini, Holland & Sherry): This fabric would be for pillows on top of a love seat out of the Pierre Frey pale pink.

Wool Sateen in Glace (Holland & Sherry): Holland & Sherry’s wool sateens are one of our favorite fabrics to use for drapes. It hangs beautifully. Samuel & Sons Steppe Heathered braid would go along the lead edge for a little sparkle and interest.

Broken Stripe in Lilac (Christopher Farr Cloth, Holland & Sherry): Another pillow on the pale pink sofa. Stripes and florals are a no brainer combo and always look chic!

Shabby Lin Delave in Quartz (Pierre Frey): Shabby Lin Delave is a great upholstery weight fabric that would make a lovely fabric to upholster a love seat in the small sitting area of the bedroom.

San Carlo Mohair Velvet in Rose Quartz (Schumacher): Seat cushion of an occasional chair at the desk. Mohair always makes a great upholstery fabric for pieces that get a lot of use.

Happy Friday, everyone!
