BBW2014 from backstage: Rosa Clará
Un año más, he tenido ocasión de asistir a la Barcelona Bridal Week, pasarela conocida internacionalmente exclusivamente dedicada a moda nupcial. Me colé en el backstage de las grandes firmas para traeros, de primera mano, toda la información sobre tendencias en maquillaje, cabello y moda nupcial para el 2015. MAC ha sido la firma oficial de maquillaje de la BBW2014, y Maite Tuset, directora de maquillaje de esta edición, me estuvo explicando, con detalle, cada uno de los looks que vais a ver a continuación. Abrimos así esta secuencia de artículos con Rosa Clará.
One more year I had the opportunity to attend the Barcelona Bridal Week, an internationally well-known runway exclusively dedicated to bridal fashion. I snuck at the backstage of the most important brands to bring you first hand information about trends in make-up, hair and bridal fashion for the 2015. MAC has been de official make-up brand for the BBW2014, and Maite Tuset, BBW2014 Make-up Director, explained in detail each look that you are going to see below. Let it start this sequence of articles with the designer Rosa Clará.
Esta temporada, la diseñadora Rosa Clará optó por un maquillaje muy limpio y sencillo. El fondo de maquillaje es del color natural de la piel con acabado mate. Se aplica sombra de ojos blanca en crema porque se busca iluminar mucho la mirada. Ausencia de eye liner pero sí aplica máscara de pestañas, para abrir bien la mirada, aunque sin recargarla. Para los pómulos, utilizaron pintalabios de color rosa, en crema, para intensificar ese gesto de inocencia, salud y felicidad. Los labios tienen un discreto punto de magia: se realizó un degradado en rojo y rosa pero sin ser estridente, son tonos bastante translúcidos, de textura fina, que rompe un poco la homogeneidad del rostro tan claro. En definitiva, un look fresco y sin extravagancias, ideal para la novia sencilla que no quiere que su maquillaje llame más la atención que su vestido.
For this collection, the designer Rosa Clará chose a very clean and simple make-up. The foundation is in natural skin color with matte finish. White cream eye shadow is applied because we want to illuminate the look. No eye liner at all but we say yes to the mascara, to open the eyes, without working it too much, though. They used a creamy pinkish lipstick for the cheeks to instensify the innocent, healthy and happiness look. The lips have a modest touch of magic: a gradient red and pink without being gaudy, the shades are pretty translucent and the texture is thin, breaking with the homogeneity of this paleface. So this is a cool look without extravagances, ideal for those brides who does not want that their make-up attracts more attention than the dress.
Cabello: recogido en un discreto moño de baja altura, con una tira de perlas entremezclada que asomaba por el centro del mismo. Laca para sellar bien el cabello en el cráneo y dar brillo.
Hair: a low bun with a strip of pearls interspersed, peeking through the hair. Hairspray to fix the hair to the head and give glow.
