Dazed, Boho & Slightly Confused

Busy weekend here! Putting the finishing touches on a decorating project for a friend. Day off with hubs. Long run in prep for next weekend's half marathon (eeeeek), and much fatting it out.

Who: As in, who am I listening to. Seals & Crofts, Summerbreeze Dazed and Confused was on tv. Which means I must stop everything I am doing and watch. Reminds me of my high school days. Cruising looking for something to do. Stoners. Trying to get our hands on some beers. Oh and my gig at Abercrombie and Fitch as a 'brand rep', schilling overpriced carpenter jeans between long breaks in the back watching Dazed and Confused on VHS. VHS people! The cologne we sprayed hourly was enough to get anyone high. Say it with me....alright, alright, alright.

What: As in, what went down this week/end. I helped the lovely Bettina and her equally awesome sister Roxana decorate some of their super cool space downtown, SnapSuites. I'd like to submit my husband for hubs of the year award: watching Daphne, packing our car, carrying everything, all while simultaneously hanging pictures and art work like a pro. Sunday we hosted a very fun brunch, where the St. Elder cocktails and maple syrup flowed like water. Stay tuned for more on both. Oh and I got in my last long run before the half marathon next weekend! Was worried since I tweaked my knee a bit running last week (ie, I took a major digger after hitting a rock.....at a stop light in front of like 20 cars, so much grace), but aside from being a little slower, miles were logged without incident. Good thing since I ate burgers on burgers, on french fries, on onion rings, on top of french toast and boozy brunch.

Swing by the Tannery, Boylston for the c | a | m jewelry trunk show (also known as Christen Delaney, nee, Christen Mitchell, who used to call Boston home and now crafts her wares from LA). Event runs from 5-8.

H&M's younger sister brand (if Cos is an older, minimalist sibling?), & Other Stories debuted online shopping this week. Heavy on prints, sleek styling and the cool. I haven't taken the plunge yet with any purchases but this coat has piqued my interest.
