Time Tested, Tried and True Beauty Essentials

I have a secret or two to share....the beauty and make up essentials I have relied on for years. Drugstore to luxury and back again.

Cle de Peau Concealer Rodin Face Oil Creme de la Mer Lip Balm Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo NARS Matte Velvet Lip Pencil in Red Square Ellnett UNSCENTED Hairspray Maybelline Great Lash Mascara I know, I know, concealer in excess of $50? Insanity. Until you try it and suddenly find any way to rationalize the absurd expense. Can you really put a price on no under eye baggage? As a new mom, I think not. Instead, focus on all the money you'll save using Maybelline mascara and Ellnett hairspray (don't make the mistake I first did and get scented- it's hideous....go UNSCENTED!!). The hold of this hairspray is superb. Strong, yet soft. Such an oxymoron does exist in nature my friends. NARS Red Square is quite simply the best matte red I've ever used. I have no fewer than three of the exact same shade in rotation, which may or may not have something to do with a daughter who likes to steal my make up. Blandi dry shampoo was one of the first. I have since tried just about every other one on the market and always, I repeat always, come back to this. It's a tad more refined than baby powder (which you can also use on the cheap). Last but not least, perhaps the most crazy item on here, Creme de la Mer lip balm. It's bananas expensive. In my defense, I was gifted one to start. A gateway drug to soft lips that will have you craving more.
