This is Home: My Studio (2)

I am desperately trying to get my first piece for Windows of the City finished today so that I can move on to part two of my installation. This hand embroidery is the biggest I have undertaken so far and it has taken over my life. I have been stitching as soon as I get home from work, all weekend and any other spare minute I can find! It has been so nice to be able to work hard on this piece in the comfort of my cosy little studio, all wrapped up in blankets on my daybed.

My studio is a in a state of chaos at the moment after the Made on the Left markets last Sunday. A lot of my market stall display furniture is currently housing my hand embroidered art works and until I get proper shelving up on my walls it will probably stay that way!
