Homes to Inspire | Inside Out

Featured in the September issue of Inside Out magazine, this gorgeous Melbourne home has a bright and happy vibe, perfect for a Friday! Originally an Edwardian cottage, the incredible transformation was carried out by architect Clare Cousins via lots of Skype calls with the owners, who at the time were on the other side of the world.

Despite an almost all-white canvas, this light-filled home is packed with warmth and personality thanks to the addition of timber and colour, including plenty of natural greenery. I particularly love the bedroom below, which features a contrasting black fireplace, softened by a pink Hans Wegner Plank Chair and graphic artwork by Kristina Krogh.
