THE DEAD PRESIDENTS - AN UNCONSTITUTIONAL COMIC BOOK

I hereby declare by the constitution presented before me, today, that I will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help me God. And if God won't help me, then maybe some dead presidents will? Well, that's what my mate Kevin say's anyway. Especially if you check out the following interview. Nudge-Nudge! Wink-Wink!

1) What are your own origins, Kevin? Plus what path did you take in life prior to getting to where you are today? My name's Kevin Garcia and I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. By my own choice, I left my secure high school social studies teaching job for the New York Film Academy -- in Universal City -- located in southern California. And it was here where I studied screenwriting.

2) What inspired you to create ‘The Dead Presidents’ comic book? My love of comic book super-heroes and presidential history. I've been reading comics since 1991 and have worked in two comic shops for a total of 7 years.

I started absorbing pointless presidential facts at a young age.
3) In your own words how would you describe this tale? A cosmic-powered Hitler has returned from the afterlife with plans of world domination, and it's up to an untested and divided group of dead presidents to try and save the day in this comedy-action-adventure.
4) What song would you say best represents this project and why? The theme song from the first season of the SUPER FRIENDS. It's inspiration.

5) If you could get a celebrity – except for a dead president – to promote your wares, who would you choose, and why would you want to choose this particular person? William Jefferson Clinton... because he's an amazing pitchman.
6) What have you learnt about yourself through this endeavour? I still have a lot to learn and each day I learn something new. Now about myself, well, there is still a few weeks to go and then once the Kickstarter campaign is complete I'll be better able to answer that particular question.
7) During your time in this field, what is the one thing that has kept you in good stead? I don't know about "in this field" but in life I try to remain open, honest, and respectful.
8) If ‘TDP’ had a motto, what would it be? "POTUS POWER!"

And on that note, dear reader, all I have left to say is to please check out Kevin's Dead Presidents website, facebook page, and twitter stream for more information about his great project. Go on. Click-Click! Think of it as your constitutional right.
