Sunshine and warmth are a rarity in Toronto, so we try to soak up every little bit of it while we can during the Summer. Each weekend over the last month, Justin and I have tried to hit either the beach or a park, and spend some much needed time outside. Last Friday, Gaby and I decided to take the day off and head to the beach for some girl talk and relaxation.
Since we’ve been spending so much time outdoors lately, my “Summer” bag is pretty much always packed and ready to go. A fun towel or blanket is definitely a necessity, and I absolutely love this round aztec towel from The Beach People. A great tote bag is also a must, and I’m loving this beautiful perforated bag I purchased from Stella & Dot. But above all, I always have a fun Summer book packed in my bag. I just started reading Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter, but I’m always looking for more great reads for the beach. Any suggestions?
