L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint Haul & Swatches

I’m sure you’ve probably heard of the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints by now. I can’t seem to avoid pictures of them onIine. They’re everywhere! Well, except in stores near me. I’ve read that ladies have been finding them at Rite Aid and Beauty Supply stores but I ordered mine online from Drugstore.com. The Glazed Lip Paints are new to the L.A. Girl lineup and currently come in 6 shades. I snapped up 3 of them but I may pick up a few more when the new colors are available. Take a look!

Babydoll, Coy and Hot Mess were my picks for the first round. Babydoll is a cool, blue toned pink. MAC Pure Silliness lipglass is similar but it’s a little lighter and more pink. Coy is a cool violet. It looks very blue when swatched but it pulls a little more pink on my lips. NYX Violet seems to be the closest dupe in my stash with Coy being a little darker. Hot Mess is a warm, mandarin orange. It looks very close to Lady Danger. I can’t wait to see how well they play together!

The L.A. Girl Lip Paints have a very thin, runny texture but intense pigmentation so they’re going to take some getting used to. I like them so far, though. Especially Coy! The color is so amazing! I’ve already started testing them out so I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted with some reviews. In the meantime, enjoy the swatches!
