I grew up singing along to the Wacaday theme tune, desperate to be bonked on the head by a bespeckled, middle aged man yielding a soft pink mallet. A 'Bleugh' from Mr. Mallet was enough to brighten any breakfast! Yes, the 80's was the golden era for kids telly hands down!

But with Rolf Harris et al getting arrested left, right and centre as part of Operation Yewtree, the mutual penchant for 1980's clothing is definitely where the similarities end! Thank god Timmy and Michaela played good ;-)
