Shrooms on Regents Canal

Jacket: Primark Jumper: Thrifted Bum Bag: Irregular Choice Leggings: Primark Jewellery: H&M Shoes: Office

I love living in the middle of this city. Apart from the black-bogey inducing traffic, the beige-suites office workers and the perpetually failing tube lines, I adore being in the thick of it all.
But when I want to shun the hustle and bustle for a while, my girlfriend and I love a nice stroll along Regents Canal. It attracts a real melting pot of different people: hipsters on their Boris bikes, the occasional rough sleepers pitching up tents, skin 'eads walking back from Camden Town and on a sunny day boat owners sit atop their amazingly adorned floating houses with a beer as I ooze jealousy from every pore. One day I shall acquire my own water home and be the baddest-assed pirate North of the river!
There is also some really quirky graffiti to be found on route and the Mrs and I turn into right goofballs as we interact with the artwork such as theses giant shrooms in order to bring them to 'life'! It's such a shame that some fuckers in suits are in the middle of gentrifying the area, with their clinical shiny buildings, posh piazzas and chain coffee shops springing up at every turn. Stick your redevelopment plans up your slimy, corporate bum-holes and leave our canal as we like it please! Here are some piccies from our most recent outing:
What are your favourite hidden gems for when you want to get away from the city? Let me know some good suggestions!
