Hi there! I’m Justine! (: (pronounced: juh-steen). Usually, people mispronounce it and call me Justin instead, which makes no sense at all because why would you call a girl, Justin? Really? lol. Anyways, I’m twenty, the second oldest of 6 siblings, and just last Saturday, I graduated from community college with my Associate’s Degree!

Unlike Jacquie, I was born with straight hair, and I guess I was lucky I didn’t have to go through the afro haircut. No lie, I remember those times, & we have pictures somewhere around here >.> … I’m kidding, I would never post those up here! I respect my older sister lol. Anyways, I rather have curly hair, because in my opinion, you have the best of worlds. If you’re tired of it being curly, you can just straighten it. I used to tell her that all the time, but she never believed me. My hair is very thin, and it’s very difficult to curl. Usually when I curl it, it doesn’t stay curled.. It goes back to being straight. -___- Last Saturday, Jilli was able to curl my hair, and it actually stayed curled all day. Maybe she just put a lot of hair spray? I don’t know, it worked, & I was happy!

On Monday, you all got a little bit of Jacquie’s style and what she wore to my commencement. And, today I’m going to be telling you what I wore that day. The pictures above were taken outside of Longhorn Steakhouse after the ceremony. In the pictures, you see that I’m wearing sandals with my dress. Well, during the ceremony I wore wedges (similar), and afterwards I changed into sandals, because my feet were killing me by the end of it. It’s always good to come prepared - always bring a pair of comfortable shoes when you’re going to be wearing heels!

Now, the outfit. I purchased this dress online during the end of March (I think), and when I bought it, I just knew I was going to be wearing it for graduation. When I got the dress, it fit perfectly on my waist. But the straps were too long, so I asked Jilli to adjust it and pin it in the back. Eventually, when I have the money I’ll take Jacquie’s advice and get it tailored along with all the things that need to be lol. For now, I’ll just stick with adjusting everything with pins. Either way, it works, and it’s always good to just work with what you have. The belt I used is actually a shinny black belt but I thought it’d be too much for the outfit, so I reversed it (even though its not reversible). Oh well, it all works, & I look cute, don’t you agree? (:
