So stoked I can finally share this news & pics with you! The new HTC ONE SKATEPARK in the Old Selfridges Hotel in London (adjacent to the Oxford Street store) is opening tomorrow!
I mentioned the opening of the skatepark in a post previously, but all details were not released until now…
The BIG news, in addition to the pop up shop Selfridges did, is that they are also opening a fully functioning skatepark which is open to the public and is FREE to skate at. The HTC One Skatepark has two distinctive area – one replicates some of London’s famous skating spots – like the Big Ben Gap and the Mororgate handrail. The second area is set up with obstacles inspired by the pop up shop (celebrating skate/surf culture & fashion) Selfridges is doing in their store next door – so think shoe boxes, magazines & baseball caps.
they are also offering FREE basic skateboard lessons on Saturdays & Sundays – see info below. So hop on a board and try it!
After you get done skating you must check out the amazing pop up shop in the Selfridges store next door. It’s an incredible collection of fashion x surf/skate by some of the most well known designers. From streetwear labels like the Billionaire Boys Club to high end designers such as Stella McCartney & Jimmy Choo the visuals are stunning, and there is something for everyone.
Skatepark info/hours:

Sunday 12 pm-6pm (basic skate lessons from 12-2)
