It's Kyle's birthday today. There's only one month out of the year when we aren't the same age, and today it ends. Feels good to be in sync in this weird little way again.

Kyle proposed to me two years ago today. On his birthday. It's a special day, for more reasons than one.

We met when we were both turning twenty-two. Sometimes I still can't believe we're not twenty-two anymore. It's the blink of an eye.

He's like this time meridian for me. Where everything starts and stops. And I can't put it any simpler than that.
