The Lacquer Legion: YUMMY…Orange Leaf, my favorite!

Hi guys. It’s time for Lacquer Legion! This month’s theme is YUMMY. I had a bunch of ideas and originally thought I’d do something really complex, like realistic sushi. But then I decided to simply created the one thing I think is yummier than all the rest. A little over a year ago, the frozen yogurt chain, Orange Leaf, came to town. Ever since, my family has been obsessed. Like seriously obsessed. In fact, it’s nearly freezing here today and I still contemplated stopping by on my way home from work. Does anyone else get on these kicks where you crave the same thing over and over?

I always get the same thing, pineapple dairy-free yogurt topped with Reese’s Pieces, chocolate chips and nuts (don’t judge me)! When I told Sarah (Chalkboard Nails) about my fave Orange Leaf combo, she replied, “Ew…your order is gross.” What? She’s crazy. It makes perfect sense to me. (Orange Leaf image below)

This look was really easy. I used all Zoya polishes: Arizona (orange), Tilda (green) and a mix of Darcy and Purity for the pineapple yogurt yellow. This nail is actually textured in real life. I polished one even coat first. Then I mixed the polish until is was stringy. I used a small brush to stroke on the swirls. The color turned out perfect! I freehanded the Orange Leaf logo with white acrylic paint. Without sounding too much like a commercial, you can find Orange Leaf franchises across the US.
