It’s down to the wire now with my big home décor project. I’m a little stressed… not gonna lie. I have a pile of 37 frames that need to be hung, a gallery wall that needs to be mapped, a wall to paint, shelves and mirrors to hang, things to purchase and paint and lots of furniture to come in. Today is the first day of the final week before it all needs to be set up. Thank goodness I have the help of Joanna and her interior design skills or else I’d be starring at my living room wall for hours trying to hang a frame!
I can’t wait to show you all the final look! It has me nervous not because I’m displaying my home but because this is the first place, besides growing up in my parents home… that I can call my own home. It’s where many things will happen, my life will grow in this apartment. I’ll come home to that same door day in and day out for who knows how long. This isn’t an apartment that has a 1 year lease, I’m lucky and appreciative to call this one all mine.
In a sense it’s not just all mine, I like to think it’s home for PC too when he visits. He’s coming to visit at the beginning of March and I want it to be completely set up for him. When he came the first time all I had was a mattress and half of a couch – this time around it will be complete.
