Have old sweaters lying around that you never wear? Today we're taking those old sweaters and putting them to good use by making them into bracelets. Say whaaat?
Yup. It's called recycling. Or refashioning. Or being a hipster. Or whatever.
And who doesn't want to be a hipster?
If you like recycled or repurposed item projects (or even if you don't), be sure to check out
this zipper bracelet and
this (SERIOUSLY AWESOME) raincoat. It'll blow your mind.
Read on to learn how!
SUPPLIES: -old sweater -bangle bracelet -glue gun -on hand: scissors
HOW:
1. Take an old sweater and cut off a few inches of the arm so that you are left with a circle of sweater that is tall enough to wrap around your bangle.
2. Make a strip of hot glue along the entire outside of the bangle. Put the sweater around the bangle, center in the middle of the strip, and press down.
3. Glue the edges of the sweater to the inside of the bracelet and you're done!
Enjoy!
