The Delicious franchise has snowballed from game to game as it has drawn in loyal fans both because of the storyline as well as the game design. The series has become a story driven saga. Emily has tackled the typical life choices that affront us all (if in more dramatic fashion):
- She has chased the wrong man only to have him lead to the right one.
- She has planned a wedding requiring unfathomable logistics and sacrifice of sanity.
- And most recently, she has suffered a crisis of self when confronted with her husband’s desire to start a family before she is ready to give up her life as an entrepreneur.
In Delicious Emily’s New Beginning, Emily has a baby which complicates her work life–as well as the player’s game play–as they compete with time to be successful at work as well as with her family.
I am loving the game. I’ve been playing for a few days and I am hooked! My favorite part of this game is that before you start each level you get to see what customer types will be arriving and what percentage of customers each type will represent. This information allows you to customize each level’s menu to the corresponding customers. This is a feature that really adds to the game play. New also in this game, Emily is juggling working and caring for her daughter, Paige. This is a struggle and balancing act that most mothers can relate to so in a way it makes the game more appealing.
I am a bit jealous of the 2 winners of this giveaway. The winners will receive a Super Pass for Gamehouse valued at $99 to be used to download all 10 games in the Delicious series!
