Arcade Bakery

Hungry for an early afternoon snack? This is what you need to do. Go to 220 Church Street.

Yeah, it looks like an office building entrace. Trust me, walk through those doors.

Walk down this long hallway.

Go past these ingenious fold down tables. No seats, since the floor is sloped.

To your right, you'll see the bakery with very friendly people working behind the counter.

Take a look at their baked goods. There isn't a huge variety, which I love since it means they're focused on what they're great at.

Take a look at their glorious breads and get as many as you can. (The breads are excellent, and the baguette is baked 3 times a day.)

Make your selection(s). If you're me, get the sugar brioche ($3.50). Don't forget to get an iced green tea for $3.00 (from MEM Tea), which is brewed fresh every morning.

Grab a table, sit, and fully enjoy every bite and sip. Repeat, but not until Monday, since they're closed on the weekends.

They close early, at 4PM, so get there before they close today!

(Big thanks to Queenie for sharing this amazing secret find with me.)
