Wardrobe Workhorse | The Graphic Print Cardigan

You guys, I haven’t shopped for clothes in the longest time. I think it’s been about 2 months or something. I didn’t mean to go on a shopping freeze, I just haven’t had the time or energy to shop. If I shop too quickly or with little energy, then I’ll end up making some really poor decisions.

Let’s face it though. Probably a lot of our closets are already filled with things we hardly wear – including mine! So for me, going without getting anything new wasn’t too much of a big deal.

I like this sweater because of its bold tribal print. But when I first saw it, I wasn’t sure exactly how many ways I’d be able to wear it.

It’s very easy to wear a sweater like this with jeans. I’ve also worn it to work with red pants and red heels – I went the matchy-matchy route so that my legs would appear longer.

And as you can see in the last picture, this long cardigan totally works for a casual day or a day in the classroom. For me, it’s really important to have clothing that’s versatile enough to be casual and dressy.
