Outfit of the Day | 2 Essentials for a Fall Outfit

Now that the weather has cooled down, my warmer clothes have started creeping in. It takes a little bit longer to put together a fall outfit – nothing is as easy as throwing on a summer dress and sandals! – but I usually have a couple key pieces on repeat.

Structured bags are great for fall! They help balance out the shapeless sweaters and other outerwear. I got this little satchel back when Phillip Lim did the Target collaboration. It’s been perfect!

Anything in animal print is always spot on for fall. (Pun untended!) I have many great leopard print pieces that I turn to once the temps drop, and now I get to add these Sydney Flat Drivers from Vionic into the mix. Just a tip about wearing leopard print – it’s considered a neutral and looks great with other prints. Just don’t get too outta control. Keep the total colors that you wear to three or under.
