Happy Friday!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week and are looking to an even better weekend. I had a great week! It was super busy and I didn’t get nearly enough sleep, but I went to a lovely wedding where the bride wore this beautiful lace vintage dress; she looked so beautiful! It was awesome.

Aside from that, I’ve been busy planning this year’s last hurrah of giveaway events and fun posts. If you haven’t been around that long, that’s okay, I’ll fill you in on a little bit of what’s to come!

Firstly, early November will play host to a ton more reviews of products I’ve been testing out, I’m rolling out a really cool sponsored post where I share a traumatic story about my dog and how to best care for your pets, and I’ve been creating a TON of gift guides for you guys so holiday shopping will be as easy as possible.

Awesome Giveaway Events in November & December:

Secondly, on the giveaway front, there will be my traditional holiday season ones! The first one lands in November so look out for that post VERY SOON! It’s the Black Friday Beauty Giveaway and how it works is this: all November you guys let me know what beauty stuff you want. Whatever makes your wishlist, let me know, and on Black Friday, I’ll brave the crowds and try to make your wishes come true. Once I have the giveaway items in hand, the comments you left on the post become your giveaway entries (yes!) and I’ll draw a name out of a hat to see who gets the goods! Of course, you can get extra entries for tweeting the post and things, but details will be in the post so just keep an eye out!

Last but not least, I’ll be doing my Storybook Days of Christmas Giveaway Event again this year for the third year! If you are unfamiliar with this event, then you’ll be seriously excited! The event includes only my top favorite beauty brands and each day of the event will showcase a brand that I love along with a chance for you to win some very special items from each brand I feature! Last year, the event lasted around 10 days(!) so you’ll want to really keep your eyes peeled in early December for that.

Random Friday Favorites

Back on track, this week’s Random Friday Favorites is being done a little differently as I created a collage for all the things that made my list this week!

• Butter London Limited Edition Gears & Gadgets Steampunk Nail Lacquer Trunk – This incredible nail collection from Butter London is SO cool! I just loved the theme for their holiday collections this year and I’m a huge fan of their green nail polishes so this is definitely on my Christmas wish list! The collection includes over $300 worth of nail products for only $150! The set includes 20 nail polishes, 4 best-selling nail treatments, adorable Butter London nail tools, and the gorgeous steampunk style trunk. Honestly, this is just too pretty.
• Disney Maleficent Glitter Flat Loafers – OMG! These are absolutely gorgeous! I am having a moment with glitter, especially glitter shoes, and these are so cool! These come in both charcoal black and a lighter silver. I love the Maleficent eye design on them and I think they’re just lovely for fall.
• ILIA Lipstick in Strike It Up and Linger - Strike It Up is the PERFECT red for fall and winter months, especially during the holidays, and Linger is the most unexpected golden bronze color. I don’t even know how I would wear it, but it’s just one of those colors I feel like I have to have!
• Once Upon A Time…Clutch – This Once Upon A Time Clutch is perfect for the holidays! Anyone who knows me knows how obsessive I get when it comes to fairy tales so this is obviously meant for me. I’m just saying.
• Lace Appliqué Tulle Mini Dress – This dress is so stunning! I love lace and tulle and anything that looks like it could house a princess, honestly, and this gorgeous! I cannot afford this because it’s by Marchesa and you obviously have to sell your first-born to get it, but if I could afford it, I would already have it and it would be mine. And I would love it and sleep with it because I get emotionally attached to beautiful clothes. Seriously though, if you can afford this dress, you need to go buy it right now and wear it and take a photo of yourself in it and send it to me so I can live vicariously through you LOL.
• Elemental Herbology Tree of Life Balm – The fall and winter months leave my skin a little sensitive and I like to have a good balm on hand to soothe my skin from the cold weather, dryness, and just general treat my skin to help it repair itself. This multi-purpose balm is ideal for using on chapped lips, dry hands, and even stretch marks and EH products, as always, are formulated without nasties like mineral oils or other synthetic ingredients.
• ILIA Vivid Tinted Moisturizer and Concealer – ILIA, a lovely organic green beauty brand, has finally released a line of green face products and I honestly couldn’t be more thrilled! I’m a HUGE fan of their lip products already so I’m sure their natural face makeup products will be just as good. A tinted moisturizer is perfect for those days when you really don’t want to wear any makeup, but want to look a little more polished than not wearing anything or wearing powder. It’s especially nice to give a little glow on dull skin winter days. The concealer is just the icing on the cake in this little duo so I’ll definitely be putting these two on my wish list.
• de Mamiel Autumn Face Oil – As I was saying, my skin tends to get a little sensitive and parched during the cold months and this face oil is formulated with natural ingredients meant to soften, tone, balance, and hydrate skin. It also touts natural flower essences which work to promote a balanced mind, happiness, and well being.
• Metallic Leather, Brocade & Velvet Over-the-Knee Boots – Another beautiful piece of fashion that I cannot afford because if you have to sell your first-born for Marchesa, then you’ll have to auction off your entire family for these and I totally would if they would agree to it! I’m kidding, but seriously these boots are stunning. They include a metallic leather design with brocade a gorgeous floral velvet pattern all on a kind of military style over-the-knee boot. Can we all just do a collective sigh for how beautiful these are?
