September So Far…

In between working, 4-day weekends, holidays, school events, and vegging out on the weekends, I have been a failure when it comes to blogging. Nothing new has been happening. It’s the same old, same old.

During the 4-day Chuseok weekend, I hung out with Kristina one day and vegged out during the others. I did the Seoul City Bus Tour, which wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. But I did have Taco Bell that day and that was amazing. I’m gonna miss my chingoo when she moves back to America for good next year.

Work has been busy as usual. We’re usually plagued with either a birthday party, AR test, all-day event, Carnival Day, or field tripe. This prevents the normal teaching schedule to occur. In turn, we fall behind. But we somehow catch up by the end of the month. I have the POLY workshop coming up next weekend… ugh, there goes another Saturday. At least the buffet is amazing.

I need to figure out my plans for next year soon. Am I staying or am I leaving? What do I really want to do with my time here in Korea? On one hand, I have been blessed with the most amazing co-workers and work environment this year. One the other, I am a more creatived-based teacher and I need the flashy CTPs to keep me content with my job. Time to pull out that resume and reconsider my plans for the future once more.

That’s all for now. I’m not the most exciting the person in the world, I know. I did recently discover that Panda Express just opened in Korea. It’s only a 15-minute subway ride away. God bless Panda Express.
