Seeking Purpose

I’m not sure if it is because it’s been pretty hot (thus super casual not photo worthy outfits) or because my lifestyle has changed but I once again find myself wondering what the fate of this blog will be. I recently came across another blogger who decided to hang up her digital musings in favor of spending more time with her family. Yes, it does take quite a bit of time and goodness knows if I was focused on growing my blog I should be spending even more time. Better photos. Better content and more blog socializing. But I still really enjoy most aspects of blogging.

Much like in my life I’m struggling with the purpose and focus. I know many of the things that I don’t want to be and have found a greater sense of self in my 40s which I love. The clarity is nice and self love is a glorious thing. Now I just need to figure out the public version of myself. The one that has a meaningful career and puts something good out into the world (this is also a new development in my 40s; wanting to contribute to more than my own success). I see inspiration everywhere but still have not figured out how I can do something I love and make a living at it. It’s so exhausting!
