Just Another Manic Monday

Actually, is anyone actually manic about Monday? It seems unlikely. Poor little Monday.

We finally got a break in the heat! It was great to get a few horse rides in and to accomplish so many chores that had been readily discarded. And the phenomenal feeling of no longer working up a sweat just from applying mascara is most welcome too.

This weekend was productive. Not in the fashion sense but in the getting my life back in order sense. The only good thing about remodeling chaos is the accompanying bliss of diving head first into guerrilla organizing. I spent almost 2 full days to put together our new closet and get everything put back in its new home. A trip to Ikea – which by the way must be THE place to be on a Saturday night. Who knew? A trip to the Container Store also known as The Mother Ship. Both followed by a huge mess that proceeds any good organization project.

Don’t worry, pictures are coming soon but there are still a few things left to do in the master bathroom. It looks so good and I can’t wait to share the after pics!
